Fresh figs, maroon and pale green, soft and sweet and seed-filled… reminds me of l’été et ma maman! When I get home in barely more than a month, I want to make this Fig Tarts recipe, having nibbles of ripe figs while the rest are baking with puff pastry and vanilla sugar. Oh, I can’t wait for the gentleness of summer air…
